OPEN FRIDAY - SUNDAY ONLY, THROUGH OCTOBER 19. DEPOT MUSEUM OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK
Travel through time and experience the North Shore...
History comes alive on the Lakefront line of the North Shore Scenic Railroad! During our summer season several trains a day depart the historic Duluth Union Depot for a trip through downtown Duluth, Canal Park, along the shore of Lake Superior and deep into the majestic north woods. Fully narrated tours tell the history of Duluth, the harbor, and the stories of the railroads that built northern Minnesota and Wisconsin.
Ride to the Pumpkin Patch aboard the train, hop off to find your perfect Jack-O-Lantern to be, then ride back for more fun at the Depot! This is an annual tradition and fun for all ages. Get your tickets today.
Trains operate starting in May and run until October, taking riders on excursions through Duluth, and up the North Shore. You can take a short 90 minute ride, or travel from Duluth to Two Harbors on a full 6 hour excursion. Or, ride our 2.5 hour Family Pizza Train on weekends with pizza & soda included.
See below for details on our special excursions, including the Elegant Dinner train and Murder Mystery Train.
We have a lot of fun trips planned for the 2014 season -- Including several party trains, the Grandma's Marathon Shuttle/First Class Viewing, Elegant Dinner Train, Murder Mystery Trains, Thomas the Tank Engine, Pumpkin Trains, Wine Tasting Train, and many more.
Later in the year, you can jouney up the North Shore to see the autumn leaves, or ride the Beer Tasting Train, and pick out your jack-o-lantern on the Pumpkin Patch Train, and our famous Christmas City Express, More info here >>
