"Paint on the Rails" - Art Instructional Riding the Train

art train

Enjoy a 2.5 hour excursion aboard the North Shore Scenic Railroad, while you experience a painting class, complete with instruction to create a specific painting, "Lakewalk View" (image below) with an artist from On the Rocks Art Studio. Follow along with step-by-step instruction to create your own beautiful masterpiece. No artistic experience or supplies needed! Join us for this unforgettable experience.

Offered ONE day only, for the first time ever: Saturday, May 20 departing at 9am.

Artists will be setup "classroom style" aboard the historic railroad equipment, and depart the Duluth Depot up the shore. A cash bar with "breakfast beverages" will be available for purchase.

Meanwhile, in other coach sections of the train, your friends and family can ride along and enjoy their own morning ride up the shore, while you paint (great for your spouse and the kids to come along but be in their own area of the train while you concentrate on the instructional. All children are required to have a separate chaperone in the coach section).

$55 for instruction/art ride
$16 for adults just riding in coach
$8 for kids just riding in coach
